Wildlife Repair Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining various types of machinery, with a focus on farm equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues in farm machinery and other equipment.
- Perform repairs using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status and recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest repair techniques and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of farm machinery operation and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Sales experience is a plus, as it may involve interacting with customers for potential upselling opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are preferred.
