Job Responsibilities As a Top Tier GENERAL Transcriptionist, you'll be responsible for Transcribing audio files with high accuracy and attention to detail Working on a variety of projects, including academic, social, and medical research Meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality transcripts on time Collaborating with our team to ensure consistency and quality in our transcripts Continuously improving your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments Mandatory Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must Have at least 4 years of experience in general transcription, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail Be able to commit to transcribing a minimum of 300 minutes of audio per week, most weeks Be willing to work as part of a team and take feedback and guidance from our quality control team Be a US resident, with the ability to work from anywhere in the country Essential Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need Exceptional transcription skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling Excellent listening skills, with the ability to discern different accents and speakers Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with our team and provide feedback Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred Experience working with academic, social, and medical research projects Knowledge of specialized terminology, such as medical or technical terms Experience working with transcription software and tools A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection Career Growth and Learning Opportunities We're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
