Technical Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner based in Canada.

This role is designed for an experienced technical recruiter who wants to work independently while accessing global hiring opportunities.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes across technology, engineering, and business functions, connecting exceptional talent with high-impact roles.

The position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the support of a collaborative recruitment network.

You will leverage your sourcing expertise, market knowledge, and candidate evaluation skills to deliver strong hiring outcomes.

Working across areas such as software engineering, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and leadership, you will contribute to building high-performing teams.

Accountabilities:

As a Technical Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while building strong relationships with candidates and hiring stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment activities, from sourcing and screening candidates to final submission and placement.
  • Understanding client hiring needs and translating technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
  • Identifying, attracting, and evaluating qualified candidates across technology and business domains.
  • Conducting recruiter interviews to assess technical alignment, experience, motivation, and availability.
  • Coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring teams while maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
  • Building and maintaining long-term candidate relationships and talent pipelines.
  • Ensuring high-quality candidate submissions that match role requirements and client expectations.
  • Collaborating with recruitment teams and stakeholders to improve placement success and hiring efficiency.
  • Managing multiple open positions simultaneously while maintaining strong candidate experience standards.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a recruitment professional with experience sourcing and evaluating technical talent across competitive markets. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple searches, and building trusted relationships with candidates and clients. Key qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in technical recruitment, talent acquisition, or executive search.
  • Strong sourcing capabilities with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search techniques, and other recruitment tools.
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles such as software engineering, AI, machine learning, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, data engineering, infrastructure, or product management.
  • Strong understanding of technical profiles and the ability to assess candidate fit.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Experience recruiting across additional functions such as healthcare, finance, sales, operations, manufacturing, logistics, or leadership roles is a plus.
