Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their desired destinations within Mississauga and the GTA, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage, maintaining a clean and comfortable vehicle interior, and ensuring a pleasant ride experience.
  • Operate navigation tools and dispatch systems efficiently to optimize routes and respond to passenger requests promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and earnings, and process payments accurately using provided payment systems.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, passengers, and company management regarding schedules, issues, or special requests.
  • Manage time effectively to maximize earning potential while upholding service quality and reliability.
  • Handle passenger inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance.

Required Skills

  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License (or higher) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., delivery, ride-share, taxi, courier).
  • Excellent knowledge of Mississauga and GTA roadways, landmarks, and traffic patterns.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate GPS devices, smartphone apps, and payment processing systems.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a licensed taxi driver or ride-share operator.
  • Experience with an established dispatch system or ride-hailing platform.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and troubleshooting.
  • A clean criminal record check.
