Part-Time Accountant (20 hours/week)

About the position As a Part-Time Accountant at Gates, you will play a crucial role in the Corporate reputed company team, focusing on basic to mid-level reputed company activities for various corporate entities. You will be responsible for a reputed company of reputed company tasks, including booking journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting in closing ledgers, and preparing forecasts. Your work will also involve management, statutory, and government reporting, ensuring compliance with established financial controls and SOX requirements. This part-time role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, with the expectation of working in the office for two 8-hour days and having the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 4 hours. However, it is essential to be onsite during the first two business days of the month for month-end reputed company activities. You will be expected to support management reporting by preparing and entering actual results, conducting variance analysis, and distributing financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company. Additionally, you will prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets, including variance analysis for specific functions and cost centers.
