Oracle Fusion Consultant

LeverageTek is actively seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant for a 12-month contract with its remote, Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks

  • Act as the day-to-day lead for the Transactions and Treasury department through the Oracle Fusion transition
  • Redesign and standardize processes across Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expenses, General Ledger, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting
  • Serve as Oracle Fusion subject matter expert embedded within the client project team
  • Provide Oracle guidance and advisory support to the Controllership department lead
  • Collaborate with the System Integrator and internal PMO to ensure finance requirements are accurately scoped and implemented
  • Identify and flag customization requirements versus out-of-the-box Oracle functionality
  • Reduce manual processing and improve controls through Oracle automation
  • Produce documentation including process flows, RACI models, role descriptions, and transition roadmaps
  • Support change management and knowledge transfer within the finance team
  • Participate in scoping of Procurement, Fixed Assets, and Projects modules
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Transactions and Treasury operations within large or complex organizations
  • Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion financial modules, including prior experience supporting or leading an Oracle Fusion implementation
  • Deep expertise in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expenses, and Cash Management end-to-end processes
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, segregation of duties, compliance, and month/quarter/year-end close requirements
  • Ability to map Oracle Fusion workflows, approvals, and security roles
  • Experience leveraging Oracle Fusion automation to reduce manual processing and improve billing and collections efficiency
  • Proficiency in documentation: process flows, RACI models, role descriptions, and implementation roadmaps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Finance, IT, Operations, and leadership
  • Change management and knowledge transfer experience during organizational transitions
  • Experience in shared services, centers of excellence, or geographically distributed teams (preferred)
  • Experience with AlayaCare (preferred but not required)
Asset
  • CPA or Oracle Cloud certification
