Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Functional Consultant - Managed Services (Full Time Permanent or Contract Position)

Your Opportunity BDO Digital is currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Functional Consultant to join our growing Solution Operations (Managed Services) Practice on either a full-time permanent or contract basis, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement. This is a new role that can be located anywhere in Canada, and the individual will own the following responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams in support of client D365 F&O Managed Services engagements, with an approximately 75% support and 25% project-based focus Analyze customer business needs and objectives and provide in-depth application expertise in targeted business areas Streamline customer business processes to achieve greater ROI within the context of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition suite Provide training to client staff to perform day-to-day activities in support of ERP implementations Troubleshooting issues and reproducing the issues in a separate development environment Utilize effective communication and listening skills with customers and colleagues to troubleshoot technology issues and provide guidance/support Apply Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Methodology to assist customers in deploying the solutions in a timely and effective manner How do we define success for your role? You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration You understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talent You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace You grow your expertise through learning and professional development Your experience and education Minimum 3-5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O managed services consulting and support experience, with strong expertise in the Supply Chain Management functional area Knowledge of one or more other functional areas of D365 F&O or an another ERP product, such as Finance, Sales or Talent/Human Resources, is preferred Previous experience working with a consulting firm is an asset but not required Dynamics 365 F&O /AX certifications in the relevant business disciplines will be considered in our selection process Self-motivated, articulate, and able to inspire audiences Process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience Experience in working on functional design, configuration, and process alignment with a detailed understanding of Finance concepts and general module functionality. Knowledge of ITIL principles or working in Operational environment. Self-motivated, articulate, and able to inspire audiences Excellent communication and interpretive skills. Communicating with clients and interpreting their needs will be a daily activity. Highly organized and able to work well under pressure both from clients and from team members. Flexible and adaptable to change. We implement change for diverse clients on a daily basis. Self-motivated. Learning new skills without prompting is expected. Perform as a committed team player. The success on each project depends on the combined efforts of the implementation team. The expected range of compensation for this role is $84,000 - $128,000 annually. Why BDO?
