Math Teacher

Contract: September 2026 – June 2027 (with potential for permanent position)

Keystone School is a private co-ed school in downtown Toronto, serving both local and international students. As an IB Diploma Programme Candidate School, we offer a supportive, academically rigorous environment with small class sizes and a strong focus on inquiry-based learning.

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Math Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach high school mathematics (Grades 9–12), including senior courses
  • Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons using inquiry-based approaches
  • Support problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world application of math
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school initiatives
  • Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities

Qualifications

  • OCT certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Experience teaching high school math
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Comfort integrating technology into teaching

Preferred

  • IB experience or familiarity with IB approaches
  • Background in inquiry-based or project-based learning
  • Experience in a private or independent school

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
