This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivated professional to join our Operations team, in our Toronto office, in the role of Logistics Coordinator specializing in Domestic and Cross-Border shipments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end process for the smooth flow of goods – receiving orders, coordinating shipments, completing documentation, invoicing, and billing customers, while maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience working at an international freight forwarding company and/or handling shipments of alcoholic beverages.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the commercial department to ensure all parties are aligned
  • Work with Intermodal carriers in North America.
  • Provide professional, prompt and efficient customer service to all clients
  • Ensure files are completed and updated in accordance with corporate requirements
  • Monitor shipments and proactively communicate with customers
  • Work diligently to ensure quotation deadlines and shipment requirements are met
  • Resolve client customer service issues promptly and professionally
  • Support and manage ongoing vendor and partner relationships
  • Provide the proper documentation that is required for the alcoholic beverage industry
  • Partner with regional offices as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a Logistics Company managing domestic/cross border shipments
  • Hands-on knowledge of Domestic, Cross Border import- export procedures
  • Experience in handling shipments of alcoholic beverages would be considered an asset
  • Customer service mindset and ability to manage all stages of the shipping process
  • Excellent English language communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Preference for working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced growth environment
  • High level of critical and logical thinking analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Ability to build positive professional relationships and work collaboratively with functional and operational employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures

What we offer:

  • Salary range $55,000 to $65,000/year
