Line Cook/Chef De Partie

We’re looking for a part-time Line Cook / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a busy, quality-driven wine bar in Toronto.

We’re a small kitchen focused on seasonal ingredients, thoughtful technique, and contemporary cooking, with a strong emphasis on consistency and quality. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, supportive kitchen team.

Responsibilities

  • Execute dishes to a consistently high standard during service
  • Run a station independently and efficiently
  • Complete daily prep and mise en place
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team during service
  • Follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen standards
  • Assist with receiving, storage, ordering, and closing duties

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a quality-focused restaurant kitchen
  • CDP or strong line cook experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of fundamental cooking techniques
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Culinary school not required
