IT Platform Administrator

<strong>Required<br><br></strong>The Data Sharing, Integration and Management Services Department is responsible for things like implementing and updating the Desjardins Group data protection platforms, including shared, simple and high-quality services like data protection using de-identification mechanisms. As an IT Platform Administrator, you’ll need to carry out data protection services. As part of a multidisciplinary, agile squad, you’ll be responsible for supporting development teams in delivering data de-identification projects. More specifically, you will be required to:<br><br><ul><li>Configure the various components of the de-identification tool and provide support for installing, configuring and maintaining the data protection application platform.</li><li>Participate in rollouts and release activities.</li><li>Operate, monitor and take action to ensure stable service for the platform by using advanced web and network analysis tools.</li><li>Analyze, diagnose and resolve operational issues in collaboration with the development and infrastructure teams, by determining the causes of low- to high-severity incidents, by following up on system-related issues and by making sure they’re resolved.</li><li>Keep inventories, technical documentation and operating procedures up to date.</li><li>Help automate recurring tasks PKI processes and continually improve processes.</li><li>Produce indicators, statistics and operational reports.</li><li>Help developers execute commands and find solutions when there are production issues.</li><li>Produce documents describing the installation, maintenance and operating procedures for the application platform and occasionally update solution architecture documents.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What we offer*<br><br></strong><ul><li>Competitive salary and annual bonus</li><li>4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year</li><li>Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement</li><li>Group insurance including telemedicine</li><li>Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment</li><li> Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Bring To The Table<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field</li><li>A minimum of two years of relevant experience in platform administration</li><li>Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered</li><li>Knowledge of French is required</li><li>Knowledge of continuous delivery products: GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Concourse CI, Vault</li><li>Knowledge of Windows environments, managed file transfers, and relational databases</li><li>Knowledge of the web environment (HTTP protocol, web servers, reverse gateways, web services, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of monitoring, alert and logging tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, ServiceNow</li><li>Knowledge of Agile environments: Jira, Confluence</li><li>Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2 (Toad), and ETL</li><li>Occasional availability required to take part in rollout activities outside of normal working hours, particularly in the evening or during the night, depending on operational needs<br><br></li></ul>Action oriented, Business insight, Complexity, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning<br><br><strong>Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility<br><br></strong>At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
