This French Bilingual Executive Travel Counselor position delivers an exceptional travel experience for corporate travel customers. You'll be part of a highly skilled small team of Executive Corporate Travel Consultants working virtually from home, in an environment that prioritizes quality of interactions over quantity of calls. You'll have true accountability for the service relationship and customer experience, providing creative and timely travel solutions using available tools and technology. This is a high-touch service environment where your consultative approach and attention to detail will directly influence traveler satisfaction. ## What You'll Do As the point of sale on all domestic and international travel reservations, you'll arrange both routine and complex air, rail, ground, and hotel accommodations using Sabre. You'll manage every aspect of the booking process, from initial consultation through final confirmation, ensuring seamless travel experiences for VIP clients. You'll provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations for our VIP travelers while ensuring adherence to their travel policies and requirements. Operating in a multi-channel environment, you'll be accountable to key performance indicators including customer satisfaction, productivity metrics, and driving partnerships with preferred providers. Positive telephone and email service techniques will be essential as you act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations. You'll proactively sell additional services for travelers, such as hotels and car rentals, while expressing enthusiasm and energy within the organization. Always acting according to company ethics, values, and compliance guidelines is non-negotiable. ## What We're Looking For Native fluency in Canadian French and English is required. You need more than 5 years of experience as a corporate travel consultant with in-depth knowledge of domestic and international air, hotel, car, and rail booking practices and policies. Native Sabre proficiency is preferred but not required. You must have a detailed understanding of fares and ticketing rules for both domestic and international travel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for excellence in customer service and attention to detail. You should be able to act with integrity when handling personal and confidential traveler information, and possess basic computer navigation skills with the ability to multitask across multiple applications. High-touch executive customer service experience is a key requirement. ## Schedule and Location Candidates should be comfortable working any assigned shift during business hours Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time. These hours may vary depending on clients' hours of operation. This is a remote position working from home. ## Compensation and Benefits The US national base salary range for this position is $46,900.00 to $87,100.00. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
