WHAT YOU WILL DO Partner with Field Sales Consultants (FSCs) to identify, develop, and close dental equipment opportunities within assigned territories Drive sales growth of capital equipment, operatory solutions, technology, and office management software products Participate in the equipment sales process from prospecting and needs assessment through solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close Build strong relationships with dental practices, key opinion leaders, schools, educational institutions, and specialty groups to generate new equipment opportunities Conduct customer consultations and provide solutions that align with customer needs, practice goals, and business objectives Develop and manage a strong equipment sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are actively progressed and accurately reflected in Salesforce Collaborate closely with Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Equipment Coordinators, Installation Teams, and the Corporate Equipment Team to ensure seamless customer experience Work with vendors and manufacturing partners to position Henry Schein Canada’s equipment and technology solutions effectively in the marketplace Support and participate in equipment programs, events, educational initiatives, promotions, and customer demonstrations to generate awareness and sales Conduct regular field activity and customer visits throughout the assigned territory, including co-travel with FSCs Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity, and forecasting information in Salesforce Contribute to achieving branch and company sales and profitability objectives while maintaining a high standard of customer service WHAT YOU BRING Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline Minimum 2 years of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience 3–5 years of professional sales or territory management experience Previous capital equipment sales experience is strongly preferred Dental industry experience is considered an asset, but is not required Proven ability to develop new business, grow sales, and achieve targets Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective business and equipment solutions Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both junior and senior sales professionals Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders Comfortable learning and utilizing CRM platforms, including Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office applications Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory and regularly meet with customers in the field Your favourite words are: Capital Equipment, Consultative Selling, Territory Growth, Business Development, Relationship Building, Prospecting, Customer Solutions, Equipment Sales, Technology, Pipeline Management, Salesforce, Negotiation, Customer Success, Collaboration, Market Share Growth, Results-Driven This position is based out of our Winnipeg Branch and requires extensive travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers and sales opportunities.
