The candidate is required to support and perform necessary assessments, identifications, guidance and coordination with multiple disciplines and vendors related to software qualification and cyber security product control requirements.</p><p></p><h2><b>Your role</b></h2><p></p><ul><li>Performing the suitability assessment and software qualification of system hardware and pre developed software components.</li><li>Coordinate between internal and external parties to ensure software qualification and cyber security elements of procured equipment meets project specifications and requirements.</li><li>Review software qualification to ensure meets project requirements.</li><li>Prepare cyber security assessments for systems and components as well as review of cyber security assessments prepared by vendors.</li><li>Performing the cyber security significance identification, susceptibility levels and product controls requirements for system hardware and pre developed software components.</li><li>Supporting the selection and qualification of mechanical vendor packages and Control Systems hardware from software and cyber security point of view.</li><li>Assist on preparing validation tests and/or review the results of the validation testing.</li><li>Support change control activities using configuration management to maintain software files, release and documentation.</li><li>Preparing and maintaining work plans for the control software change activities.</li><li>Integrating software and hardware components and preparing software engineering documents such as test procedures, test reports, operation manuals etc.</li><li>Support OPEX Review - Assembling OPEX and assessing what changes should be incorporated in the future designs.</li><li>Report and suggest resolution to any potential impacts to technical quality identified by the various Computer System manufactures and vendors.</li><li>Ensure all work activities are performed safely, in collaboration with the Project Safety Manager.</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>About you</b></h2><p></p><ul><li>Engineering degree (Electrical, Automation, Software) from an accredited university.</li><li>Minimum 7 to 10 years relevant work experience in Nuclear industry.</li><li>Extensive knowledge and related applications of CSA N290.7 (Cyber security for Nuclear facilities).</li><li>Extensive knowledge and related applications of CSA N290.14 (Qualification of digital hardware and software for use in instrumentation and control applications for nuclear power plants).</li><li>Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook.</li><li>Demonstrates analytical ability and effective decision making.</li><li>Situational awareness and effective problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent Inter-personal and written/oral communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Rewards & benefits</b></h2><p></p><p>Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.</p><p>Enjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.</p><p>Make the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.</p><p>And take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.</p><p><a>Be rewarded.
