Customer Service Representative – Restaurant

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking and processing orders, handling payments, addressing customer concerns, and supporting the team in maintaining a welcoming and efficient restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

● Take dine-in, takeout, phone, and online orders accurately.

● Provide customers with information about menu items, prices, promotions, and special requests.

● Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.

● Prepare and package takeout and delivery orders.

● Verify orders for accuracy and ensure customers receive all required items.

● Respond to customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally.

● Resolve customer concerns promptly or refer them to a supervisor when necessary.

● Communicate customer orders and special requests clearly to kitchen staff.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house and customer-service area.

● Restock supplies and assist with general restaurant duties as required.

● Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace health and safety, and restaurant policies.

● Assist with opening and closing procedures.

● Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, servers, supervisors, and management.

● Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.

● Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

● Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

● Ability to handle cash and electronic payments responsibly.
