Caregiver – Companion Care (no certificate needed)

Senior Helpers Surrey North is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, long-term care, or senior support services who are looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. As a caregiver, you will provide personalized support that helps seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. Location: 15160 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC Part-time Responsibilities: Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, their families, and care team members through clear and compassionate communication. Assist clients with personal care activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence. Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, and household organization. Companionship Transportation Assistance (Driver’s License Required) Observe and report changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to family members and appropriate care staff. Foster a safe, clean, and supportive home environment that promotes independence and enhances quality of life. Assist with other tasks as assigned.
