Baker- Steamboat Cafe – Great wage + Tips!
<p>We are seeking a skilled Baker/cook to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, food prep and executing items to order/ to -go while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency at the Cafe. This is an early morning shift until mid day.</p> <p>This person must have their own accommodation and means of commuting to Steamboat Cafe in Radium Hot Springs.</p> <p>*Responsibilities*</p> <p>– Prepare and bake a range of bread, buns, pastries, bagels etc.</p> <p>-Cook to-order menu items and prep grab-and-go items</p> <p>– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations</p> <p>– Maintain a presentable, clean and professional appearance in our open- kitchen.</p> <p>– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed</p> <p>– Maintain a clean and organized baking area</p> <p>– Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes</p> <p>*Experience*</p> <p>– Proven experience as a Baker or relevant role in the food industry</p> <p>– Willingness to work early morning shifts to have baked goods ready for 6:30 am opening.</p> <p>– Knowledge of baking techniques and principles</p> <p>– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</p> <p>– Excellent customer service skills</p> <p>If you have made it this far and are truly interested in this position email cafemanager@steamboatcollective.com 🙂<br /> Job Type: Full-time<br /> <strong>Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour based on experience </strong><br /> Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week</p>
